$125 (+tax) per person – Payment is due by the first league session. We will send you an electronic invoice after you register.
Each league session consists of ~10 minutes of practice and four league matches. (If you’re unable to attend a week, you can make up your matches the following week – max four weeks.)
Big Axe matches consist of 5 throws. League members are scored individually. In the first seven weeks, league members play matches against each other to develop a win/loss record and total score (which will be used to determine their ranking for the final tournament). On the eighth week, league members compete in a double-elimination tournament to determine the winner. See the World Axe Throwing League (WATL) site for more details about the rules and standards. (Subject to change based on WATL rules updates)
Participants in the Big Axe League must have prior axe throwing experience. All axes must be approved by The Lazy Axe staff before being used in the league.
The winner of the Big Axe League will receive a $100 gift certificate to The Lazy Axe for a future reservation or league. All throwers will earn Circuit Points based on their performance, which are used to award bids to the WATL World Axe Throwing Championship!
